When Jesus got word of John the Baptist's execution, He instinctively retired to a solitary place to seek the face of His Father.
May we do the same - when, and not if troubles come - as our Lord Jesus-Christ, who didn't seek comfort in His disciples, brothers or mother, but instead chose to sit at the feet of His Father.
May we be reminded at all times that goodness and mercy shall follow them who belong to His flock all of the days of their lives.
And lastly, that He is a living God who, as the ancient psalm says, inclines His ear to hear our prayers.
