@Duckey1 Hey there! Thanks for the message! I'm working on "Tripping" right now, and I'm happy with where it's heading. It's going a little slower than expected, mainly because of other things going on in life. But I'm hoping for a summer release. Mermaids make a perfect beach read!

@Duckey1 You're right that the school season is wrapping up (just over two weeks to go!), and I'm participating in July's Camp NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) to get a lot of work done on the finale. If I finish the draft during the summer, then a pre-Christmas release is the plan. But I can't guarantee that. Follow me on Twitter @PeteTarsi because I'll be giving writing updates there in July. As for reactivating the tail, Marina's was wearing her own tail when it reactivated at the end of "Flipping the Scales". Something else happened then to trip it. Hmmm...is that a possible reason why part three is called "Tripping the Scales"?
@JuniorCali @petetarsi Jill won't wear Marina's tail. She will have to wear Lorelei's tail because the only way to reactive (trip) it. Is for a person who's never worn the tail to put it on. I know the school season is wrapping up but any updates on release date? Is it possible to see the finale this year or more likely next?
@JuniorCali Thanks so much for the message, and I'm overjoyed that you've been enjoying my book series. You're not the first to guess or suggest that Jill should wear Marina's tail in the upcoming final book of the trilogy. It's an intriguing guess, and I'm not going to confirm or deny any potential spoilers for Book 3. After all, there should be a lot of lingering questions from Book 2. :-)
