At an early age I was introduced to Robert Heinlein's 'Stranger in a Strange Land' by a friend's father, an author, and then later I picked up a copy of 'Lord of the Rings'. It wasn't long before I was hooked for life.

At 18 years of age I knew I wanted to be an author, but life got in the way and my dreams were put on hold. As 2012 began I turned to writing full time and now have two series in the works.

Outside of writing I obtained a MS in Information Systems and since I tend to get bored, I have worked in the private & public sectors, academia, and even some time in ministry. This has given me a wealth of experiences that I try to bring to my writing.

Married 30 years to a beautiful woman, with three children grown into caring and sensitive adults, I have had a wonderful and challenged life's journey. The challenged part has helped form much of my own view of the fantasy worlds that I now write about.

I believe stories are all about the depth of characters and what befalls them - the movement from start to end and the adventure in-between. How some characters fail and others rise above their own expectations. As the Dragon-Called Legend tells us – It is about the Fire Within!
