I had to read my story. But I wasn't forced to read all of it. I had to read the first 2 pages and that means he knows she's gay...He didn't say anything about it..?

Update on my story in English:
          I'm in math right now and I go to English in 2 periods. Last week we got a paper that we had to fill out for ourselves. Well, the first question is "What is your favorite  part of the story?" and I put  "The fact that she's not straight, she's gay." 
          At the end of class, he collected them, which was something I didn't expect him to do. He didn't say anything, but today, we're SHARING our stories and I'm really scared. What if he yells at me? Sends me to the office? Suspends me? I could get in so much trouble! 
          Ehh. What are you gonna do about it? I don't really care. He said write a story, and that's exactly what I did. Wrote him a story. He didn't specify on her sexuality. Or anything, for that matter. I'll let you know how it goes at about 1:10.

We're writing a short story in English and we have 2 characters. One of them is definitely a girl but your supposed to write a story where she meets someone and they go on a date. Well everyone wrote their main character as straight, where as I wrote her as gay. Well I'm not sure what my English teacher thinks about gay marriage, but, oh well!
