bc of the recent breaching and selling of users private information on this app, i will most likely be deleting my acc. it outraged me that a huge company such as wattpad is experiencing this and not speaking out to warn their users. if you are concerned for your safety, change all passwords that are similar or the same to your wattpad one. check your email account linked to it to ensure that it wasn’t hacked. deleting your account is the best option, but it is your choice. 270 million users got their information leaked and nothing is being done to prevent it which speaks volumes for this company. i’ve been on this website for years and have enjoyed creating stories and reading others. thank you all for the support you’ve given me over these years on my most popular story. even throughout hiatuses, i was getting tons of support which i dearly appreciate. i love all my supporters and hope for the best for you. if i ever do comeback, i most likely won’t be creating as ive lost the motivation to do so. this is a major thing happening and makes me not want to continue to use this website knowing my information was leaked. please respect my decision as it hurts me to even come to this. if you want to talk to me on twitter pls dm me privately for my acc. love you all
