Sneak peek (2): It was the night I woke up in my bed the covers close to my chest as a soft knock was coming from down stairs 'knock knock' "coming!" It was only 11:30pm I guess it wasn't to surprising someone pry just lost their dog again. I got out of my bed walking down the steps in a over sized shirt and shorts opening the door I find myself surprised as he was standing there J was his nickname I guess he made it down here although he didn't have a car..maybe he got a ride. [J: hey...] he had been shivering I quickly pulled him inside closing the door his face had been red his coat covered in frost almost frozen. "Hey...are you alright?.." I was concerned normally he would have called to let me know he was coming...but what I wanted to know was why he was so cold. [J: I'm fine dont worry] he had always managed to keep a smile I guess that was one of his best features. He Had explained he walked here I felt horrible after he said he couldn't leave me alone this winter but I felt he did it because of me but when I realized it was actually because he wanted to be with me through winter...and I guess I couldn't tell him to go home seeing as he's here now. I sighed "I see, you didn't have to go through all this you know.." I had rubbed my arm not sure how he would respond..(to be continued.)
