What do you choose? What do you do when you're left in the dark? How do you know you're not making the worse mistake in somebody else's life? I have to believe that even if something looks like it can't be fixed, doesn't mean it's broken. And for me, I just need to believe that doing the right thing for me isn't selfish, I'm just taking care of myself.
However... truth is, there's really no good way to say goodbye. The carousel never stops turning. Life goes on, and if some day, you ever shame the choices I make after you left. You can shove them wherever they fit. I was done, and all the boys and the bars were over, because I was done. I had finally found the one I would spend the rest of my life with. So no, I make no apologies for how I chose to fix what you broke. You don't get to shame me for pulling myself back together after all you did to me.
