dude why did this happen, it seems like the reader's effort to save Splinter was for nothing, what is it and then what will happen will make him fail to save the world and lose everything, right or am I wrong?

Man that new tmnt chapter was intense. Was not expecting for y/n to lose an arm. Can't wait for the next chapter.
