and have been writing seriously since 1995. I was forced to take retirement from my job as learning support assistant in a mainstream high school when I became ill with M.E. sometimes known as chronic fatigue syndrome. It is a very debilitating illness, isolating sufferers and so writing has saved my sanity. I am a member of a local creative writing group - when I'm well enough to get there! I am divorced with two adult sons and a young grandson.
