          "Well, you should be," Reagan countered, his arms snaking around her waist and pulling her petite frame flush against his muscular chest. He held her gaze captive, his intense eyes burning into hers. Jamari couldn't help but wonder why, unlike others, she wasn't getting consumed by flames just staring at him. But she pushed the thought aside, determined to stand her ground.
          
          As he leaned in closer, his breath hot against her ear, Reagan whispered in a low, dangerous voice, "I can be very dangerous."
          
           She felt a rush of heat course through her body as she gazed up at him, her heart racing with anticipation. Despite the danger that lurked behind his words, she couldn't help but be drawn to him, like a moth to a flame.
