Some people ask why I use American terms when I'm English. I came to America from England when I was five and I grew up with my friends and teachers using American terms. So, yes, when I saw football, I mean American football and not soccer. I do agree that football makes more sense for soccer. I also say restroom but sometimes I call it a bog or a jack (which is what my mother calls it, considering she's Irish).
