Sorry for the drop of pace from 1 per week to 1 per 2 weeks in terms of COTE chapters. It's just exam session is in full swing. 53 is halfway done, and it'll mark the end of the mixed training camp exam. It's a pretty meh arc overall, so I had to twist it a bit to it doesn't feel dragged to me. And it already starts to do so, hence next chapter finishes it.

ZuitheRedfox

So where's that SAO story you promised?

ZuitheRedfox

@Pita_the_Bread No no I vividly remember you announcing a SAO harem story with a Saiyan Ghoul betrayed dragon emperor protagonist. Where is it?

@ZuitheRedfox you might have missed the discord memo where I don't really promise stories. I don't tend to announce stuff on here

Hi hermano
Don't you think that having Ritsu makes things way too easy for Shinzo and Isogai because they know everything so there's no real adversity?

Pita_the_Bread

@TodoAkabane, you're welcome. I quite enjoy talking about things like these, since, given it's COTE, there are a lot of, let's say, die-hard fans who tend to overfixate on the powerscaling aspect too much. Not that I mind it per se, I just think too much powerscaling debate drains the entire fun out of a story.

Your logic makes sense.
If the story mainly focuses on how the characters evolve within an oppressive environment, then Ritsu doesn’t really remove the adversity, since the real conflict comes from the system itself and not the exams.
Thanks for taking the time to explain everything

@TodoAkabane that is to say, in a shorter form, sorry for the wall of text, that the story is less about manipulation wars for winning like most cote stories that I've read at least, and more focused on character drama. That's the whole reason for the crossover in the first place.
