And Wattpad notifications seem to broken. Again! It's really a hassle to have to work uploads around these random blackouts.

Hi hermano
Don't you think that having Ritsu makes things way too easy for Shinzo and Isogai because they know everything so there's no real adversity?

Pita_the_Bread

@TodoAkabane, you're welcome. I quite enjoy talking about things like these, since, given it's COTE, there are a lot of, let's say, die-hard fans who tend to overfixate on the powerscaling aspect too much. Not that I mind it per se, I just think too much powerscaling debate drains the entire fun out of a story.

Your logic makes sense.
If the story mainly focuses on how the characters evolve within an oppressive environment, then Ritsu doesn’t really remove the adversity, since the real conflict comes from the system itself and not the exams.
Thanks for taking the time to explain everything

@TodoAkabane that is to say, in a shorter form, sorry for the wall of text, that the story is less about manipulation wars for winning like most cote stories that I've read at least, and more focused on character drama. That's the whole reason for the crossover in the first place.

To all the "geniuses" that think people can't spot obvious bots pretending to be artists in the comments and "fans" of whatever I wrote.

Kindly screw off. You're demented if you think chat gpt talk is gonna convince me to pay even a dime for your supposed services. And you can drop the gaslighting afterwards about how I "don't engage with my readers" as well. No moron. I don't engage to people here to waste my time.

Get a hobby something. I swear. Or even better, an actual job.

Lynxwarlord12

The thing I love the most is they are all mostly the same message: “Hi! I’m [insert job name] specialist, and [proceeds to give the most generic positive review about your story and characters]. Hit me up in discord!” I can’t help but laugh whenever I get a comment like that lmfao

@ Pita_the_Bread reminds me of those so-called "editors" who reached out to me en masse the second I passed 1k followers here. Lmao

@ Pita_the_Bread yup, like so many other places, they sure love to screw you over when it comes to language with outta nowhere bans and such.

But they sure don't bother to deal with all the bots despite how obvious they are!

Hi there. I know someone already asked you this a few weeks ago, but would it be alright if I borrowed some aspects from your Four Horsemen story for one I'm thinking of writing? I don't want to seem like I'm asking just because someone else did, but I've had this idea for the past few months since rereading your story again, and I know that if I don't ask now I might not ever get around to it.

In summation, here are the broad strokes of what I was hoping to borrow that are 100% your idea):
          - General family dynamic (sibling horsemen + parents + little sis)
          - Corporate shenanigans (company heir + secretary/board drama)
          - K Project Elements (2+ Kings being related/associated w/ Horsemen)
          - Extended Family Conflict (Horsemen on hostile terms w/ 1+ cousins)
          - Horsemen Curses (Might change some, but would like to use)
          - Some "Unrealized Plans" (Eden, Abomination Vault, Council, etc...)
          - Non-Horseman Nephilim Hosts (Absalom, etc...)

That's more or less everything, save for perhaps one or two tiny things that I apologize in advance if I can't think of right now, though I'd be changing a number of smaller details here and there if given the green light. Feel free to veto any or all of these requests if you want, I'd even be fine if you'd prefer I not write this at all. I've been a fan of yours since before you removed that old RWBY story you used to have up years ago, and I want to respect boundaries as much as I can here.

In any case, thanks so much for all the content over the years (including your current crossover which is feeding my COTE hyperfixation perfectly); no matter your answer, you'll have a lifelong fan in me. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions or whatever else about what I had in mind, and have a nice rest of your week!

Dragonslayer413

That's completely fair. I'm realizing in hindsight after getting some sleep that I may have come off a little strong, so sorry about that. Honestly, most of the stuff I listed could either be cut entirely with minimal impact on the grand scheme of what I had planned or was otherwise generic-ish enough that listing it just made the list longer for almost no reason.

I guess it was mainly just the K Project elements that I was asking to borrow when you get right down to it, but I have this habit overcomplicating things at times, so sorry again about that. If I did make use of anything other than that from the list, then it would definitely be changed enough to be my own thing and not just a copy-paste of your story.

Regardless, thanks so much for both hearing me out, as well as all the amazing content over the years.

@Dragonslayer413 I mean, you pretty much listed everything that I've added on my side to borrow. So I'm not exactly sure if your intention is to write a fanfic of a fanfic or just general crossover.

Everyone is free to do their own. DXD/Darksiders crossover, I don't own either. But I'd appreciate if it didn't feel too much like a rehash of what I did.

Hey, I’m doing a quick survey on DxD fanfic authors. Would you care to answer a few questions?

          1. What got you into writing about DxD? Was it another fic, or just the show itself? Or something else?

          2. If it was another fic what was it?

          3. Do you find it funny or interesting that most people who love DxD watched it as young teens or kids?

          4. Do you think the age thing correlates as to why so many DxD fic authors made accounts 7-10 years ago?

          5. What’s the most common second anime a DxD fan likes, in your opinion?

          6. Aside from your own, what’s your favorite DxD fic?

          7. Do you think DxD has the most amount of fanfictions in anime?

Turtlenecking101

Wow, was not expecting such a quick response

1&2 I feel ya on your first answer, I remember those times. Even now it feels like sifting for gold in a barren river, looking for anything good that is. Just a different narrative, now it feels like all we can find is reusing old ideas, like yours or “gamer.” That, or crossover slop galore.

            3. That’s fair, I had honestly watched DxD before puberty. And I was more trying to dig into if it had meant anything to you as a kid. But I think I worded it poorly.

            4. You think DxD will still have relevance with next generation? Or do you just mean in general, and with all fictions.

            5. Yes that’s also very fair, I think you had one of the oldest stories out of all authors I asked. You and the original “Gamer” author.

            6. I actually haven’t heard of that one, I’ll be sure to check it out.

            7. You’re probably right, sadly I’d have no idea because I’ve never personally enjoyed Naruto.

Thanks again for answering my questions, In the future when others answer, I hope to poll them together and get a consistent answer that I can share back with you. I asked 9 or 10 authors, but a few haven’t been on for a few months.

1 and 2: the lack of original concepts for fics at the time. Dragon emperor this, dragon emperor that. Blue, green, purple. It was like a poor power ranger randition. So you could say I wrote out of spite to showcase a more yet to be done crossover.

3: That's goes for most animes of that genre. It isn't really interesting or peculiar. It's just a given in puberty you're more likely to watch such shows.

4: Sort of. Soon enough it'll be another generation change on the site. As it's more common to write fics the more time passes.

5: I'm not as in touch with these shows anymore, so I can't tell.

            6: Adventures of Black Flash

7: LOL. No. Anyone who thinks that is new to the scene. If anything Naruto has a shot at that title.
