@Augusto2006sr Yep, still alive. Busy with other creative projects unrelated to this site. My inspiration for this storyline has diminished quite a bit though, but I do hope to eventually get back to it some day... some year... hopefully before I actually die for real XD

            Eh, there's a few reasons why I don't go that route. The first is that my particular writing style wouldn't lend well to such a story in my opinion. Second reason is that I'm not quite confident in my portrayal of Gon over extended periods of time, I have a lot harder of a time capturing his personality than I do with characters like Meruem and his Royal Guards. Third, it's just not something I feel like writing. Fourth reason, with the OC, I feel like there is more creative liberty. And finally, there are plenty of better authors who have written better Pitou x Gon stories than I could come up with.
            
            All that said, if there is interest, I will try to feature more of Gon in the current storyline.
