Hi, I'm Sam.   I love to read, and it turns out I love to write as well.   I'll read pretty much anything that takes my fancy, from chick-lit to historical novels, fantasy to young adult fiction (I'm a long, long way past being a young adult myself!)

My favourite books are too many to mention, and change from time to time, but include:
Pride and Prejudice
The Green Mile
The Time Travellers Wife
The Hunger Games series
Pretty much the only thing I will never read is horror, I've got too vivid an imagination for that!

My real love other than reading is sewing.  I make a lot of my own clothes and teach sewing in my spare time.  I wanted to be a fashion designer when I left school, but somehow I ended up as a building surveyor!  I'm still trying to work out how that happened.
