Captive by obsession. S1. Wow. No words. Like, it had depth. A lot of depth, it wasn’t just an obsessive man falls for an innocent girl, and happy ending. There was a lot to this story that made me not see it as one of those toxic stories that get too normalised on wattpad. I hope with season two we see Devraj get the help he needs. Because whilst he was getting better with Indu, a lot of how he behaved was not okay and I know he has his reasons, but it’d be nice if he realised how he treated indu in the past and going forward needs to change, and him to make that decision himself. I wouldn’t want indu to continue to adjust herself just to fit with him. Anyway, on my way to read s2!! :)

I've said this before, and I'll keep saying it—Devraj is not getting a character redemption arc. That man was written to be obsessed with Indu, and he'll stay obsessed with her beyond reason, beyond logic... probably beyond therapy too. His love isn't meant to become "normal." That's literally the core of who he is. So if you're waiting for Devraj to wake up one morning and become a perfectly healthy, emotionally regulated green flag... I'm so sorry to crush that dream. That said, I really appreciate that you noticed the depth of the story. My goal was never to glorify toxic behavior, but to explore these flawed characters as they are. I hope you'll still enjoy the journey, even if Devraj refuses to cooperate with everyone's expectations. ❤️

I have completed 50+ chapters but I need some proximity scenes in further chapters according to my story.
While reading you chapters you once mentioned in a comment that you take preference from chatgpt.
But in my case chatgpt isn't even giving me the mafia style concept it isn't giving the proximate scenes as I want in my story.
Will you please suggest any app or any website for free..

I think the biggest misconception is that people expect it to write the scene for them. It actually works best when you already have a vague idea in your mind. That's exactly how I use it. I already know what I want to happen in the scene, but sometimes I can't figure out *how* to make it more impactful. So I explain the situation in detail, the characters' personalities, the emotions, the setting, what has happened before, and what I want the outcome to be. Then I ask for different possibilities. Out of those ideas, I pick the ones I like, change them according to my story, and add my own touch. Trust me, ChatGPT doesn't have your creativity. Your imagination is always the best part of your story. It's just a tool that helps you brainstorm. For example, with Devraj and Indu, I had already decided from the beginning that there wouldn't be a typical character development where Devraj suddenly becomes a green-flag hero. He's obsessed, possessive, and psychologically intense—that's his personality, and it stays that way. So instead of asking ChatGPT to "write a romantic scene," I'd ask something like, "How would a man with this personality react in this situation?" or "What are different ways someone this obsessive would express this emotion?" That helps me understand his mindset better because, obviously, we're normal people trying to write characters who aren't. So my advice is: don't just give ChatGPT one line like, "Write a mafia romance scene." Give it your entire vision, your characters, their personalities, their history, their emotions, and what you want the scene to achieve. The more detailed your prompt is, the better the response will be. I hope that helps! And if you ever get stuck while writing, feel free to ask me. I'll help if I can. Happy writing! ✨

First of all...
CROWNS OF SHADOWS is officially under renovation.
Not the "throw a pillow on the couch and call it redecorating" kind.
The serious kind.
The "my writer brain looked at old chapters at 2 AM and went... absolutely not" kind.
So today's update will include some refined changes to previous chapters, improved details, smoother storytelling, and a few adjustments that will make the world of Rudra, Ishita, the kingdoms, and our ancient wolves feel even more alive.
And now...
Can we talk about the unexpected co-author of my sanity?

Listen.
I know some of you might be wondering why I've suddenly become obsessed with maps, kingdoms, visuals, and ridiculously detailed world-building.
The answer is simple.
AI literally helped me SEE the world that had been trapped inside my head for years.
The kingdoms.
The palaces.
The battlefields.
The forests.
The royal aesthetics.
The wolves.
For the first time, I could actually visualize them.
Some of the images I received were so breathtaking that I just sat there staring at them like:
"Oh... so THAT'S what my imagination has been trying to explain this whole time."
Did AI help me build visuals and references?
Absolutely.
Did it make me fall even more in love with this story?
Also absolutely.
At the end of the day, the characters are still my emotional support disasters, the plot is still my sleep paralysis demon, and the chaos remains 100% handcrafted by me.
So prepare yourselves.
Because CROWNS OF SHADOWS is growing bigger, deeper, prettier, and significantly more dangerous.
And today's update is only the beginning.

@Riristoriesuser108 Trust me, bestie, nobody wants the next Crown of Shadows chapter more than I do. The characters have been screaming inside my head 24/7. Rudra is judging my life choices, Ishita is threatening me, and the kingdoms are demanding attention. The update is coming soon. I'm just making sure I don't accidentally release chaos with plot holes attached to it.
