Why is Mother Nature unleashing her full wrath on Alabama? I mean, I know it's summer, but the main course for, like, three weeks straight has been severe thunderstorms. Serve up something new, already.
Writing has become an obsession instead of a hobby. The intense, yet hypnotizing need to dive into the heads of characters who aren't physically real—to distract myself from everything that is.

Power came back on at about 2 this morning. Yay. :) How would you describe a drunk character in a novel without using the word "drunk?"
