A funny thing is, my original story concept for, “Just Different”, was Y/N but with Steven Universe powers from the Geosage Weapon. Heck, by the end of that story concept, he would transform into Monster Steven in Steven Universe Future. But I scrapped the idea because Pokemon is a game where your Pokémon do all the fighting for you. And having a human main character who had powerful powers just to have his Pokémon do the fighting for him was a bit too much and complicated for me. So I changed the main character to a different Steven, AKA the Pokepasta version. Specifically, because it gave me the freedom to bring up other Pokepastas and keep it as close to Pokemon as possible.

When I think about S!3V3N from the Strangled Red Pokepasta and how he was involved in some other Pokepastas I, for some reason, like to think of him as Sukuna. It’s a bit strange but it happens I guess???
