Hey! I just took a look at your story and you have a great plot!
A bit of advice, you should have a updating schedule, readers and browsers that come across your story will often look at how many chapters you have published and when was the last time you updated.
Taking breaks and taking time for whatever is going on in your life is fine but the fewer chapters you have published and the longer you take to update often discourages your audience from reading.
I recommend having multiple chapters saved as drafts that you can publish when you dont feel like writing.
And this is your first book so no pressure take your time and as time goes on I'm sure that you will improve your skills.
Write what you want not what people want. Writing what you are passionate about will help your books stand out amongst the others.
