We need to have a conversation.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but I'm putting this out there.
If you, a person in the LGBT community, want to have support and validation but don't give it to others when they identify with the norms of heterosexual and cisgender.
THEN YOU'RE ALREADY DOING IT WRONG!
They are just as valid and loved as you are.
Shut up.
Everyone matters, including those who follow societal norms.
I mean hello there are heterosexual and cisgender flags for a reason. THOSE TERMS EXIST FOR A REASON.
If you want love, you have to give it too and not just one specific group. Everyone too.
Now, it's delusional to think everyone will accept you or your love and support.
But someone might. Someone might be grateful.
And that's okay.
But the same message goes to heterosexuals and cisgender peoples.
Love, support, and validation is a two way street honey.
If I want to be genderfluid and aroace, I'm allowed to be so and not cause harm. Because I'm not.
I'm not doing anything that IS causing harm by doing so.
Let me be a shape shifting person who has no interest in romantic or sexual relationships in peace.
Damn.
