No, I am not mean. But don't force me to read something I won't like, because, as I've said, I want to be totally honest about writing, and I don't want to say "Oh, your story was cool" for lack of something nice to say about it.

I fan when I think the writing's fan-worthy--not because somebody complimented/fanned/whatever'd me.

If you fanned me without reading my work/fanned me just to get fanned back... I'm sorry, I don't do that. I only thank the people who have fanned me because they actually read my stuff. I'm that kind of person. Few as the may be, the people who read my work are awesome just for reading my stuff.
