Anyone else getting a lot of comments from accounts that are doing the "hey I loved your story, contact me if youd want to see about collabing to bring this to life?"
Or well, i got a comment from one that i'm pretty sure just copy and pasted the content of my chapter into like chatgpt to generate a comment since I've never met a human that's going "this chapter emulates the trauma the character is expressing through the repetition of the question why" and then you go to their account page and their bio said "this is my art tumblr"
Just a reminder that more often than not these people are bots or scammers, no different than when you're on discord and get random art scammers in your dms
@PokemonDestiny Got one. Said no very kindly before I really thought about it. Once I processed that it could be a scam, I took a screenshot before deleting the comment, just so I have proof if I later find they're claiming I gave them the okay to use my stuff or something. They sent me the exact same message the next day. Word for word. Checked the account, pretty sure it was either a stolen account or someone bought it to be a bot, because it's been there since 2017. Take screenshots, delete, and repeat until they, hopefully, leave you alone.
@PokemonDestiny I ain't a author, but I've seen many people msging stuff like that on many of the stories I've been reading since the past 3 days like u said. When I checked their account I see that they've only been created exactly 3-4 days back. Honestly, it's dumb and gives away the scam immediately.
