(Teaser)
"Hey!" I huffed, and glared at the boy who had thrown a note into the trashcan, it had nearly hit me, and I was unhappy about it. I sighed, and turned back to my work, pencil clenched in my hand. Why couldn't he be.... NORMAL?
The question was unavoidable, and frustrating to think about, but I most definitely wasn't the only one thinking that.
The note stayed in my mind throughout the remainder of the class, I was curious. Had he MEANT to hit me with it? Perhaps it was a more... rude way of passing notes.
The bell had rung, announcing our time to leave. At last, I was broken out of my daze, and I immediately got up, waiting for the boy to leave the class, than grabbing the note. Lucky for me, it missed the trash can, so I didn't have to stick my hand in the garbage. I un-crumpled it, and the message on the note left me speechless.
"My heart doesn't beat, yet you've stolen it anyways."
"I am cold, and yet, my face heats up in your presence."
"I cannot die, yet I'd do so for you."
"Though you hate me, my love for you is true."
PFFFT. No wonder he threw it away, It SUCKED. I re-crumpled the note, and stuffed it in the trash can.
Stepping out of the classroom, the cold air hit me, it was never noticeable before. Was it hotter in that classroom than I thought? Brushing a strand of hair away from my face, I realized my face was burning.
I was blushing!
