The way I see it is that bisexual is liking two genders,. Because 'bi' means two, so bisexual means twosexual, right..? Not saying the two genders have to be boy and girl, they could be other genders / identities as well. I'm not completely sure of that though. Pansexual is liking someone, and not 'seeing' their gender. Pansexuals can also be known as 'gender blind people' who don't really see a person for their gender, but for their heart, and they way they act. I think these sexualities are similar, but different. I don't think people are trying to 'erase' each other's sexualities at all.... But then again, that's just my opinion.
