A new Madness update is coming soon for anyone following it. I had a bit of writer's block but I am back in it!! Everyone get ready to meet the heir.

          	VERALOR will be on hiatus until further notice. 
          	
          	All 3 will be completed eventually, I just cannot commit to a schedule because it kind of just depends on when inspiration hits, for which story, and when I have time to work on it.

          If you haven't been reading 'Let Them Say We're Crazy', now is the time to catch up, as Chapter 16 is in the works but is going to be a long one. There will be revelations and more pining, as these two idiots head into April 1987. And I know, I know..."Can they just kiss already?"... I am a sucker for the slowest of burns though (I'm not sorry).
          
          So, catch up with the boys, listen to the Spotify playlist, and settle in, mate. We're just getting started!!

Wow, 2019 was the last time I posted anything here! Well, needless to say, I have been a little busy over the last 2 years (you know and the pandemic of it all). But! I am back now...I don't even know if there is anyone still following me lol. Anyways....
          
          Veralor is started and a long and lengthy process. I will continue to work on it as I have time and updated as I can. But in the meantime....Please checkout my new story "Let Them Say We're Crazy"!! Its a mlm romance set in 1987 and will feature lots of romcom beats, '80s music, makeovers, and analog media communication. 
          
          I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I am enjoying writing it!!

Kristy, I just wanted to give you a heads up. A publisher named " W e b n o v e l. " just contacted me about publishing on their web site. It seemed like a scam so I did a search for them. It turns out that they are a legitimate publisher. The problem is in the fine print of their contracts. They require their writers to produce a lot of pages in a short timeframe and their pay is quite low for what they offer in return. 
          
          If you are contacted by a publisher please make an informed decision and not a knee-jerk one. I know I almost fell into that trap myself. The last thing I want is for a friend and a fellow writer to do the same.

@arkham71 I appreciate the heads up. I as contacted by them last year too and found the same info when I looked into it. There is another site, like this one, that has contacted before as well but their fine print states that they can use anything you publish however they want and they also don't protect your material from thieves!! They have no copyright clause like Wattpad does. I reported them when they contacted me. Thanks for heads up tho!!

Kristy, I just finished reading what you have written in your novel thus far. I must say that your story thus far is impressive. I love how descriptive it is. Your characters feel real to me, and I can't help but feel sorry for Harlow.
          
          One question that I do have is how did Christof know so much about the castle they were invading. Did he work there as a guard before joining the rebels?  I'm curious and I bet your other readers would like to know as well.

@arkham71 precisely!! That is exactly why I published it to Wattpad, for the feed back. Because I love my characters and world so much, I would go back and read it over and over again myself and realize I had plot holes or would change my mind about how I wanted to say something, so I kept going back to the beginning and starting over again. But you're exactly right!! I need to finish it completely first and stop getting stuck on the things that aren't working for right now. I can always go back later and fix that. 
            
            Anywho, I'm going on my lunch now and I'm going read your story. I will leave my thoughts for you on your message board. Ttys.

Personally, I would finish the first draft, get feedback from your readers, and run the manuscript through a grammar checker just in case. Then I'd seriously work on the revisions. I know very well how hard it is to write in a vacuum. In your head you already have the story figured out so you accidentally leave things out. A helpful reader, however, will give you feedback that "umm you missed something..."
            
            However, I want to reiterate that I love what you have done so far. Perhaps, once you get this completed and polished up in a second and final draft you could put it in contests or even sell it. Yeah, I think it's that good. :)

@arkham71 Thanks for everything!! Christof has a back story that will come into play in the story once we return to the present, at which time much more will be revealed about how he knew the things he knew and, ultimately, his role in Nevermore's fate.  I am also happy to hear that my characters are relatable enough to "feel real". And I am extremely happy to hear that you can empathize with Harlow.... Griffin is, after all, the villian of the story. 
            
            I have the next chapter, Realm of the Gods, about halfway done. I haven't worked on it in months, but knowing that you are reading has inspired me to keep going. Although I have been working on the 2nd draft, I think maybe it is time to return to finishing the first draft completely lol. Thanks again and talk to you soon.
