My friends! I'm alive, first of all! So sorry for going radio silent for such a long time. I promise I haven't forgotten about Blackbird, and I have no plans on discontinuing it, I just need some time before I get back to writing it. Until then, if you're craving a little of my writing in a more interactive way, I've been making a plethora of bots on Janitor AI! Just look up Daliesque. ❤️ I'll get back to Blackbird as soon as my brain let's me focus on it again.

Hi guys!
          
          I just started the next chapter of Blackbird after taking a couple days off to mentally recover. I've been writing pretty much constantly in my free time for the last 3 months, and I think it's finally catching up with me. When I go back and re-read earlier chapters, I feel like there's more creative life in them than recent ones, and I don't want my quality to slip. So, I took a few days to just exist before getting back to it. 
          
          I'm not sure when the next chapter will be posted, as I just started it last night. I have about 2k words currently, and I plan on it being a double chapter, so it may take some time. That being said, I aim to have it out before Tuesday, as I'm going out of town for 3 days. No promises though!
          
          Thank you all again for being absolute legends. I appreciate all of you so much!

My dear friends! The next chapter of Blackbird will be up within a day or so! I apologize for the delay. As usual, work gets in the way, haha. But fret not! The Sparrow and The Nightingale will indeed be having a rather emotional heart to heart.
          
          Also! I've rewritten the very first post in Blackbird to reflect content warnings and the like. I will be going through the earlier chapters of Blackbird to fix formatting inconsistencies and things like that. It will take some time, but I really want Blackbird to have a more cohesive look to it. 
          
          Anyway! I hope your day is as lovely as you are. You'll be hearing from me soon!
