I just wanted to write a quick update to let you all know that I haven't abandoned Blackbird. I've been very ill the last few months, and have been dealing with constant anxiety and medical issues. I'm alive, and doing the best I can to recover. I promise that once I'm able to focus on writing, Blackbird will resume. Thank you for your patience, and continued interest in my story. I love you 3000!

When did you became a fan of ATEEZ and when and how did you decide to write a fanfiction on them. (I know I am asking a lot of questions. )
@Aditiabooklover I just now saw this! Sorry for missing it for so long! No worries about asking questions, I don't mind at all! I've been following Ateez for about a year and a half now! The fanfic just sorta popped into my head one day, and I had to write it down.

@Aditiabooklover Ah, that's a good question! I can't tell you without giving too much away, but there are a few reasons. The most important reason it's called Blackbird is because of the name of the ship! But, why it's named The Blackbird, I can't tell you yet. I miss you all too! I promise more Blackbird will be coming as soon as possible.

What inspired you to write Blackbird . Also, have you read other Ateez pirate fanfictions❓
@Aditiabooklover I took inspiration from a few different things! Mainly ATEEZ music and storyline, as well as a video game I played a long time ago called "Tales of Symphonia" for how the dimensions work in relation to each other. I've read one other ATEEZ pirate fanfic called "Pirate King", that is listed in my ATEEZ reading list! I stopped reading pirate themed ones when I began writing Blackbird, because I didn't want to indirectly influence Blackbird subconsciously, if that makes sense!
My friends! I'm alive, first of all! So sorry for going radio silent for such a long time. I promise I haven't forgotten about Blackbird, and I have no plans on discontinuing it, I just need some time before I get back to writing it. Until then, if you're craving a little of my writing in a more interactive way, I've been making a plethora of bots on Janitor AI! Just look up Daliesque. ❤️ I'll get back to Blackbird as soon as my brain let's me focus on it again.

@dragonfruitt1232 Yes, I do plan on updating! It's not discontinued or anything, I'm just taking a break from it right now. I'm moving and stuff, but I plan in getting back to it as soon as I can!

Hi guys!
I just started the next chapter of Blackbird after taking a couple days off to mentally recover. I've been writing pretty much constantly in my free time for the last 3 months, and I think it's finally catching up with me. When I go back and re-read earlier chapters, I feel like there's more creative life in them than recent ones, and I don't want my quality to slip. So, I took a few days to just exist before getting back to it.
I'm not sure when the next chapter will be posted, as I just started it last night. I have about 2k words currently, and I plan on it being a double chapter, so it may take some time. That being said, I aim to have it out before Tuesday, as I'm going out of town for 3 days. No promises though!
