Repentance does the mouse speak,
With every shake does its bones creak,
In impertinence does it scream with volition,
The poor creature knows not of its own submission.
It has been caught in a trap,
One of which was slower than a snap,
A fate this creature faces!
Yet it does not realize where its place is.
Feared trapper, does he rise from the shadows,
Only to grip the mouse, and let it free from its gallows.
Be free, little mouse!
Free into the Barad with your doom ahead of you!
He will be waiting.
