I have certainly come a long way since I first picked up a pen and paper. 
What really got me into writing was when I was in the third grade. I was new to school, and quite ugly, so I obviously didn't have very many friends. But, we had an assignment in the school that was called a "bare book." I bet you can imagine just what a bare book is. If not, it is a blank book that you get to create the story in. Well, I wrote about a mysterious park and I still have that book, ten years later.
