i have a friend (irl) who loves hamilton but in a normal way so i am happy that im starting to associate the musical with her instead of internet weirdos, although i am grateful for the friends i made, i just think that eleven was way too young to be in a fandom where mental health problems were so prevalent and seeing a black pfp makes me panic 
            
            "story of tonight" still has really negative associations for me though so i don't listen to it. i think that the combination of lockdown, toxic internet culture and me being an impressionable eleven year old with too much sympathy who was told she was 'mature for her age' since she was three maybe was not the best combo and maybe i wouldn't still struggle with my mental health to this day if i was normal and took up skateboarding or making whipped coffee instead
