          I feel like not enough people understand what it means to be mixed race. Like they only see the privilege of being racially ambiguous, and don’t understand that in being that, you lose the privilege of racial identity.
          
          My friends (most of whom are either fully East Asian or fully white) say like “I hate wasians” and “all wasians have pretty privilege” and “wasians get all the best genes from both sides and none of the bad ones” and I’ve corrected them and they sorta get it but I feel like they don’t rly get it??
          
          Like we are sososo exoticized or often sexualized, and it feels so gross, but people admire that. It’s such an icky dehumanizing feeling to not feel like a whole of something, to feel a disconnection from your culture, and for everyone to expect that you love it and want to “take advantage of it”
          
          Idk my po po (grandmother) passed away last week and i feel like I lost not only her but also one of my last connections to the culture that I want to be a more prominent part of my life

theres a county wide manhunt for some guy with a gun who shot a police officer, snipers and helicopters and everything??? we were put on lockdown 
          
          It feels like a rly dramatic reaction tbh like he shot a policeman and ran away (yes that’s bad at face value) but I feel like there’s probably more to the story
          
          like was he provoked?? or did he make some other threat or something first??

It’s totally okay if you are uninterested or incapable of being part of the senate, but we do have to know so we don’t continue spamming.
