idk. I was going across interracial books and saw a lot of slave/master romances and I thought it was pretty sick and blasphemous. I wanted to show us what really went down between a slave woman and the master. there are a lot of different cases, so I can't speak for all the relationships, but I needed to get as realistic as slavery was. my book is nice compared to how we were really treated. ik we had the worst form of slavery to ever exist in history, so its sort of weird for a black woman to eagerly pursue a white dude in my opinion. there's just too much history between blacks and whites
