PSA: being lgbt or having religious trauma is not an excuse to be rude to somebody because of their religion. i've seen a lot of people be specifically islamophobic, racist, and just hateful in general and it is not okay. Christians are not opressed in this country and deserve to be held accountable but people still have religious freedom and if somebody is not using their religion as an excuse to be an asshole then you do not need to tell them to shut up simply because they mentioned their god. i have religious trauma and i'm lgbtq+ but attacking someone because they don't share the same beliefs as you goes against everything this community stands for. this isn't targeted at anyone in particular, i've just seen a lot of hate recently towards religious people and it isn't okay.
