Are you ever going to give us any update or not? At least let us know clearly so we don’t have to keep asking you again and again.
You could simply say if you’re unavailable or if you’re not planning to continue the story anymore. What hurts is not the delay — it’s the uncertainty and false hope every time.
We understand that real life gets busy. Everyone has their own responsibilities — work, studies, personal life. That’s completely okay. But when you start something and people invest their time and emotions into it, you also carry a responsibility as an author.
Even a small update saying “I’m busy” or “the story is on hold” would have been enough. But leaving it without clarity while readers keep waiting isn’t fair.
If you’re unsure about continuing, you could at least wrap up the story in one or two chapters. It gives closure to the readers who have been here from the beginning and also sets the right expectations for new readers.
We’re not asking for perfection — just honesty and clarity.
.... Sorry if I sounded rude.
