Another idea for a Re: Zero what if could be Subaru as the ghost rider. If you’re unfamiliar with Marvel to make a long story short the ghost rider is someone who made a deal with the devil and is possessed by a spirit of vengeance. Their purpose is to hunt down the worst of the worst and drag them to hell. Powers include super strength, immortality while in their ghost rider form, control over fire more specifically hellfire, and the iconic penance stare which inflicts upon it’s victims the pain of everyone they have ever harmed in anyway and if their sins are great enough their soul will be burnt to a crisp. Also every ghost rider gets a badass flaming vehicle or mount.

Okay so the main premise of Re: Zero x Let Me Solo Her would be Subaru being stuck hanging around the legendary Tarnished due to an oath he absentmindedly made in order to gain his aid against Elsa. Said oath being that he would find Let Me Solo Her a maiden seeing as he finds himself in this new world maidenless and he immediately becomes sworn to Emilia and hilarity ensues. The basic idea being One Punch with a sword. As for how powerful you should make Let Me Solo Her take the meme to it’s natural conclusion and basically have it so he’s essentially achieved what could only be described as a form of Ultra Instinct.

Funnily enough Let Me Solo Her probably would’ve helped out Subaru anyway seeing as how he helped out fellow Tarnished without expecting much in return. I think Subaru would also receive training from Let Me Solo Her with him going from an Otaku with no fighting ability whatsoever to Zoro from One Piece. The only problem is he doesn’t seem impressive because he’s compared to Let Me Solo Her. The POV of someone fighting them would be something like this. “By god the guy with the pot on his head is a monster I’m gonna go fight this skinny kid instead. Wait when did this sword get in my chest?” Basically it’s like comparing Krillin to Goku, people seem to forget Krillin can blow up a planet. Imagine how trying mug Krillin would go say goodbye to your kneecaps.

Fun fact it’s canon that Guardians in Destiny frequently have dance offs with each other when they aren’t busy protecting humanity.

I appreciate your idea. I really do. People who read this story will get confused if they do not know Destiny lore. Even if I could make a way to slip it into the story, I'm not skilled enough to do so. It would take an incredible amount of work.

@Precisionist you won’t regret giving it a shot I promise. Also I’m thinking that story might actually work as a Rem x Subaru story seeing as that Subaru basically being a completely different character from canon on account of Subaru not remembering a single thing about himself might be drawn towards Rem but hey I wouldn’t be the one writing the story. Also a little detail about Subaru in that story is that he might not even know his name at first so he may use a different name for a while until he remembers his name was Subaru.

A suggestion for a future story could be if Subaru was a guardian or lightbearer if you know Destiny lore well enough. I honestly think that would be really interesting seeing as Subaru would have amnesia about who he is. As for the class I’d say Hunter is most appropriate and if you’re confused how the space cowboy ninja class fits Subaru I’ll remind you Eris Mourne is a hunter. Also I’d say Subaru should run into other lightbearers as well likely of the Titan and Warlock classes respectively.

@Ghostwolf2022 I'm sorry, but I am not skilled enough, nor do I have the time to mash 3 universes together. If someone makes a crossover, it would have to be Destiny x re zero.

@Precisionist also you probably wouldn’t need to know too much about Destiny lore seeing as you’d really only need to know a guardian’s general power set and how they’re created. For starters guardians are created by small robotic creatures known as ghosts who revive dead people into immortal undying warriors called guardians who can the paracausal power of light as a weapon. However the downside of their resurrection is that Guardians lose all memories of their previous life. As for exactly how guardians use light as a weapon you can just google subclasses to get a general idea. Also while they are immortal guardians can still permanently die if their ghost is destroyed so Subaru would likely still have return by death it would just be more difficult to use seeing as so long as his ghost is still alive Subaru can revive from the death over and over without much consequence.
