ONE SHOT STORY POSTED!!!
Little Turtle Lost at Sea
A little turtle lost at sea,
Drifting slow, yet forced to be
The one who holds, the one who stays,
While silent storms bring darker days.
She wants to vanish, slip from sight,
To leave behind this endless fight.
Yet anchors tied with duty weigh,
And pull her back—she must obey.
A daughter first, a student too,
A sister strong—she sees it through.
But whispers crack the walls so thin,
Her parents’ love wears weak within.
She wants to scream, to run, to hide,
To cast her pain into the tide.
Yet tiny hands hold on so tight,
So she stays put, swallows the night.
She laughs, she shines, a friend they see,
But none know what’s beneath the sea.
She fears the truth will drive them far,
So she locks it deep inside her heart.
She longs for love, a hand, a home,
Yet fear reminds her she’s alone.
For love once broke, it fell apart—
Could she survive another scar?
A little turtle, lost and cold,
With tired hands that can’t let go.
She keeps afloat, though none can see,
She’s drowning slow beneath the sea.
