no matter how kindly he told her  ,  her reaction would always stay the same  .  hearing that you're unwanted by the man you prayed would some day show up in your life is one of the worst things anyone could hear  . now this isn’t what blake had expected from the 16 year old    .    he thought he went lightly     .     at that moment he felt as if everything was pushing back at him and laughing in his face     .    it made him annoyed to no extent and he shook his head     .     “    i made a damn mistake and i already know that    .    but im no coward    .    just because I don’t want any responsibility does not mean im a coward or a sociopath    .    i know what sociopaths are    .    you don’t want to know what one is     ”      his tone was hard and irritation was clear in his green orbs    .    when he sensed carmen coming by he straightened his position and crossed his arms    ,    watching with a scowl on his face    .    he couldn’t believe how unbelievable this was getting    .     “    me    ?    i did nothing but talk on how im not the man she should be looking for    .    i already told you how I cannot be what she wants me to be     .     im sorry to not fullfil her dreams but I’m not that guy     ”

the woman strolling out of the conference room lightly chatting with a co worker about one of the unsolved cases that they were reopening , stopped mid sentence when her eyes land on the pair standing only feet apart of eachother  .  “ excuse me “ she said stepping away from the conversation , heading in their direction “ Alexandra ? “  she questioned “ what are you — oh baby  . . “ once she got close enough , she was able to take   notice of her daughters red rimmed eyes and tear stained  .  she took no time in rushing forward and pulling the teenager towards her , cupping one of her cheeks in her hand , her chocolate hues softening and then gardening as she glanced behind her tearful girl and at the  child’s father , a harsh glare thrown his way  “ what the hell did you say to her “  god — if it wasn’t for the child between them she swore she could strangle the man with her bare hands  ,  apparently her words of ‘ be gentle and kind’ had gone in one ear and out the other , thank god alexandra hadn’t gotten his mannerisms .
