@ProjectRenaisanceMan you have some obstacles, yes, but they're minor in the grand scheme. Your storytelling is there, as well as great conceptual plot. The other stuff you can learn. Enjoy the journey. I'd love to read your work when it's complete.

Well I can hope that my college courses will help fill in all these nasty gaps I have. I don't blame the publishers spelling, vocab. ,and grammar are the basic tools of writing .letting a technical mess get published is like letting a mechanic work on your car when he has a set of damaged wrenches. At that point it doesn't matter how good of a theoretical understanding he has, his basic tools don't work. All my wrenches are busted some are missing, and some that I don't even know I need are missing. *ahem*
You have novels to write and I have pain staking growth and change to go through I'll stop taking up your time. Thank you for all your advice It really means a lot.

Good attitude. Unfortunately limited one on one instruction is common place. I'm not sure which direction to point you in to get your practices up to scratch. Reading, reading and more reading. That's how I filled the gap. Publishers are nasty particular about grammar and misspellings, leaving great work (that just needs a polish) out to dry. Nail down the basics. Beta readers and peer reviews can help with the rest.
