Apologies for the next chapter of Moebius Loop taking forever. I suffer from "not planning shit" and "finding my ideas from the local schizo".
          
          
          
          Spoilers for the next chapter though: Branwen tried to connect to Fayn instead of Arno. But Fayn is so legitimately fucked up from his trauma that she noped out of his mind. 
          
          Also while not in the next chapter, Geiblú does meet Orelia and has his tomboy awakening lmao.

Time to write a fic where Edward is sent to Sonic's time and goes full Pelinal Whitestrake but instead of elves it's machines.

          Love how it's now canon that Arno's ancestor was a hater because Eggman's machines in his timeline had taken over the continent before he led a crusade to annihilate most of them. Do not let bro into the main timeline.

Teensy weensy update. Wolf from Jupiter is happening again! Buuuuut it's a LOT different!
          
          -Plot is essentially Arno finding the Chaos Emeralds and accidentally activating them, sending him seemingly two centuries in the past. Sorta true, but he's in an alternate timeline. 
          
          -In this timeline, the war against Eggman has gone on for two decades, Sonic and friends having grown up during it. They haven't met yet, and this is essentially a reimagining of their origins. 
          
          -Arno meets Amy, and shenanigans ensue. Arno realizes that his grandma is awesome. (Mobius' amount of recorded history in Arno's timeline is a joke at best.) 
          
          -Arno with a piko piko hammer, what will he do? (Because he'd technically have his own due to it being his Amy's that was passed down to him.)
          
          -Aster is there, somehow. She has all her memories from Moebius Loop and acts like being in another timeline is just something people do.
          
          -Might have Arno turn into his grandfather and do his part to aid Mobius' birth rate lol. Probably won't but I think it'd be funny for his arc to be his grandfather's but inverted. 
          
          -"So yeah, I'm actually related to Amy! Which means I'm really sweet! Temper? Who says I've got a temper!?" 

Can't wait for the big reveal of Arno's family and his grandma on his mother's side (aka the one that actually matters) is Amy MFin Rose. 
          
          Context: Amy met Emilé long before she met Sonic in this timeline. In the Moebius Loop timeline, the resistance had been fighting for nearly two decades before Sonic and his friends met. While Amy and Sonic were fighting at the same time, Sonic was merely protecting his home town. 
          
          Also Amy is more of a sweetheart with a temper than ever. Managed to tame Emilé, which says a lot. Some of Arno's distant cousins appear in ML, due to Emilé being a real heartbreaker back in his younger years. 
          
          Also important detail is that ignoring their clothing, the difference between Emilé and Arno is the eyes. Emilé has bright blue eyes, while Arno's are emerald green. 

Moebius Loop chapter 9, as 8 did, is being a poop from the butt. 
          
          Also love me looking at my old stories and seeing "wow, 700-800 words was such a big chapter!" Now 6000 isn't enough lmao. Doesn't help that ML is a slow burn and overall huge. 9 chapters in and we're just starting the first arc. Fun. 
          
          Won't be as almost grimdark as the early chapters. Lots of spiritual shenanigans. 
          
          Now, what will chapter 9 focus on? Primarily Arno having his "push comes to shove" moment, deciding to take his own advice. And some hints that all is not what it seems with the war... As well as Branwen's proper introduction! I love my dorky Vtuber battleship that's in my head! 

Being on the phone with tech support for half an hour only for them to reach the conclusion of "I genuinely don't know what the helly the problem is, I'm sending a tech your way" is a mood.
          
          Also 10/10 tech support. Bro was chill af. Usually I'm the one calling people boss man lmao.
