Moebius Loop episode 8 is almost ready! I apologize for how long it’s taken, and I hope I can return to a normal cadence after this. 
          
          Next few chapter plans are to be as follows:
          
          Fayn's arc is to start.
          
          Admiral Lynette and the politics behind both sides of the war are explored. 
          
          More Orelia things. 
          
          Branwen shenanigans begin. "There's a lady in my head who calls me stud muffin" type shit.
          
          The Ründevich War gets explored a tiny bit. 
          
          Possibly but probably not in that order. Anyways at work. There's two of us and a sporting event across the street. Feels like Halo Reach up in here lmao.

          Imagine being an Espadon crew member and being told "Hey we've got a crippled battleship we need to finish off!" You think you're just gonna fire a torpedo at it. But then you remember that the captain's brother was a marine commando right as you're handed a rifle and a bayonet. How are you even supposed to feel at that point?

Love the idea that Arno is genuinely afraid of women because one of the few interactions he had with his mom was the classic "I put you in this world, I can take you out of it too!" line. And being the goober he is, he interpreted it as "I piss a woman off and they're sending me to seventeen different ZIP codes at the same time."
          
          Like you'd think having three lovers (although I think Aster qualifies more as 'freaky scientist lady who bangs my wife as much she does me' than a lover, and Branwen is... The voice in his head.) would be the coolest shit ever, right? Nah, bro is actively paranoid that he'll make Orelia mad so she'll send his ass to Detroit. Because even through two civilizations, Detroit hasn't changed.

Sleep schedule is gonna be fucked. Have to be up in three hours and I'm not tired. Yay...

Love how the average person assumes that big corporations are altruistic organizations who would do anything to better the world. Meanwhile corporate wants to write me up for using a toaster. I wish I was joking.

Can't wait to write a random one-shot where Arno is randomly in Sonic Forces. Part of it would be him being driven insane by the (lack of) strategy when it came to Operation Big Wave. So instead of the chaos we got in-game, we get Arno doing his best Nelson at Trafalgar impression.
          
          "This is admiral Arno Durandal of the Revenant Fleet! To all damaged Resistance ships, make your way to these coordinates! The Growler will cover your retreat! Everyone else, prepare to form up with me!"
          
          
          "Allied cruiser! Cut down 45 degrees and roll 45 port! We'll catch that ship in a pincer!"
          
          
          "Rookie, hmm? You don't fight like one. Diverting a Respada to support you. Her plasma mortar can help, you get pinned down."
          
          
          "Set a course that has us collide with that battleship! And get a boarding party ready! Grab my rifle too while you're at it... Of course grab the bayonet!"

Love how most of Moebius Loop has Arno and Orelia clearly being in the wrong type of ship. Because they are insanely aggressively (and aggressively insane) enough to qualify as a destroyer captain. Nine times out of two their strategy evolves into "attack. And if that don't work? Attack more! Counterattack? That implies that the enemy is attacking!"
          
          Granted Orelia does captain a destroyer squadron for a bit. So we get DD-11/57/68/88 & 99 together. Pact not giving their destroyers names lmao. To be fair they have more personality for it. 57 is treated as Whitney's sidearm because she clings to the battleship (and the pun of Der fifty seven, or ".357") and 88 is represented by a fucking 8 ball lol. 

Small art book II update. Only thing I cooked was my phone trying to render the canvas lmao.

Picked up Empire at War for cheap. Really enjoying it so far! Scratches that itch that HOI4 didn't. Y'know, actually being fun pre-600 hours in.
          
          Pulled an Admiral Preston Cole. "Oh no, I lost a fleet!" *sends in a new one twice the size* Which was funny.
          
          Marauder reminds me of the Ranger from BSG Deadlock, except not as goofily broken (for those who don't know, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is a turnbased space strategy game. And the Ranger has two missile salvos. You can go for the full salvo every two turns, or hilariously spam it and drink toaster tears.)
          
          I definitely suck at the game, but I'm having a lot of fun! 
          
          Might do an Empire run at some point.

          I love how the Federation's supposed to be the good guys and the Pact is all bad because they're invading, meanwhile Clemenceau is trying to build a warcrime stick in Sweden. 
          
          "This cannon can use an airburst shell to wipe out a fleet in a single shot! Oh, their main fleet is in Falmouth? Fire!" He says as there's citizens under occupation. Totally not gonna have a chapter that has a focus on the impact of that...
          
          To be fair, the Versailles Federation is based off of the Earth Federation from Gundam. And spoilers but in ZZ Gundam Dublin gets wiped off the face of the earth by a space colony being dropped on them and the chairmen of the Federation get away without evacuating the place. Because y'know, their lives mattered more to them.
