Love how with the future chapters I have worked on whilst waiting for inspiration on chapter 5, Arno bounces from "dad of the fleet" to "I am holding a battleship hostage since my cruiser is so close it can't aim its guns at me and I have a torpedo aimed right at its reactor. I'm going to yoink their ship like a pirate just for spare parts because I'm better off with my cruiser. The Espadon needs upgrades, and this will suffice!"

Moebius Loop chapter 4 has been published! As a warning, Moebius Loop has a mature warning for a reason. This chapter is going to be the darkest, even compared to later chapters. This is intentional. Moebius Loop intends to show how Mobians are repeating humanity's mistakes. 
          
          Fayn sees the worst of the war compared to Arno, and I want to show that. 
          
          Chapter 5 should be out soon. What is now chapter 4 was originally a brief opening for 5, so I've been hard at work on both!

I apologize for how long it's taken, I've just not had the motivation to write more than a few sentences a day for the past few months. Good news is that I wrote chapters 4 and 5 at the same time, so 5 should be out soon as well! 
          
          This of course depends on how I feel after work today. Maybe I'll take a nap for once and suddenly be full of motivation, lmao.

Love how I technically got into Zenless by being petty. One of my friends enjoys Star Rail, so I thought I'd try it. Unfortunately, I just can't get into turn-based RPGs besides Pokémon (and even then I had no clue what I was doing. For reference, I was playing Diamond. Not the remaster/remake/enhanced/director's cut/GOTY edition.) We both saw Zenless and he decided to play it. I got caught up in the "jeezus, what are these physics!?" debacle. He didn't like it because no open world, and I looked at some gameplay... Then Zhu Yuan happened. (Unfortunately, it was right at the tail end of 1.3 when I got around to playing so I can't get her until she reruns. If Hoyo pulls a Shenhe, so help me-!)
          
          Anyways, I decided to try it just to spite my friend. Now for reference, I've played every DMC (except DmC, although I've only beaten 3-5. I haven't played 1 in a hot minute and 2 is... DMC 2.), MGR, a bit of Bayonetta and I find myself really liking hack N slash games. Just fun and let me blow off some steam after a shitty day. So the gameplay kind of clicked immediately.
          
          I absolutely fell in love. Yes, I still think the "physics" are comically absurd. But it goes moreso into the "so absurd it's funny" category. Which fits with the game's humor. It feels good to play a game that has fun with itself and doesn't take itself too seriously until things need to happen. 
          
          So yeah, absolutely fell in love with a game I never expected to, and it all happened because one of my friends tried getting me into Star Rail. And nothing against it! I understand that some games aren't for me. And for it to change to suit my interests, it would have to become an entirely different game, and I'd rather it not do that.

Watching teammates on Wows getting crossfired after they sat at the back of the map is beautiful. 
          
          It also makes me actively cheer for the enemy because of how astronomically stupid my team can be.

          During my dream, there was this suspicious racket that sounded an awful lot like my alarm. IN THE DREAM, I tried shutting it up, to no avail. And then I woke up and it had been going off for almost 15 minutes straight. My friend was still passed out, but I wonder if he was affected in a similar way? 
          
          God I feel like I'm back in school, having to be up at 5 am, lol.

          The Raven's Nest has been renamed to the "Knights of the Wind", fitting their role as an armed intervention group who's roots can be traced back to Avalon. Armored Core reference was cool, but didn't really fit. Neat nod to Sonic and the Black Knight as well. Already got a lot of knights of the round table themes going on, why not add a few more? 
          
          Also just some background info for them.
          
          "200 years ago, there was a war on Avalon. Francia, Britannia, Polska and several other countries found themselves fighting for control of Old Europe's central point, "The Round Table". It is said that whoever controls it controls Europe. Leading Francia's main army was Edward Charlemagne. Saving an orphaned girl, he would raise her over the course of the war. While her original name is unknown, he would give her the name "Rosalind", as well as a sword so that she could fight alongside him. The sword was named Durandal, and she would take it as her surname. Edward would fall during the final battle, Rosalind taking his place. After the war's end, she would form the Knights of the Wind as a peacekeeping force, recruiting heroes from all different sides of the war. Rosalind and the Knights would last be seen commencing an armed intervention on Mobius after receiving a distress signal. While never confirmed dead, their presence on Avalon was erased, and no records of them exist. Rumors circulate that they survived, however, and are operating on Mobius to help rebuild it."

          "Originally the 4th Mountain class battlecruiser, she was intended to be finished shortly after the first engagements against the Versailles Federation, hoping to fix any potential issues. However, multiple factors led to her instead being used as spare parts. These range from Appalachia's capture to Archangelo and Whitney's heavy damage thanks to a certain captain Arno Durandal. By the end of the war, she was barely recognizable, with only her basic hull left unsalvaged. Seeing as Whitney was undergoing conversion into a museum/memorial ship (all thanks to a mysterious "Edward Charlemagne" who influenced the decision), she would be restored and upgraded to late Great War/Pre-Solian War standards. These would include railguns, an enhanced secondary battery suite, all new targeting systems, Jupitris Drive compatibility (allowing access to the BANDIT system like the Branwen) and other systems. Renamed the Jackdaw, her existence would be kept a secret, much like the true identity of Edward Charlemagne. When the Solian Empire invaded both Mobius and Avalon, she would be put in service as admiral Arno Durandal's flagship. Many have noted the irony that a ship essentially reborn being captained by the man known as the 'Firebird of Britannia'."
