Hey everyone, important update. I mentioned this is my art book briefly, but Moebius Loop is being rewritten for a myriad of reasons. To be brief, the story I want ML to be is not the story I started three years ago. I've changed fundamentally as a person. Buut the most recent chapters fit that new vibe, and so I'm essentially rewriting the first act. 
          
          Basically anything with Orelia is staying. Virdziya and the other Pact characters will be tweaked. 
          
          Arno, my precious pookie bear, will see the most changes. Mostly dealing with his family. Martel is actually consistent in this version, being the Federation secretary of defense. The first few chapters will build the world and include politics, because a Sonic fanfiction CLEARLY needs to be a political drama! /s. 
          
          So if you see any references to an "Elliott", then that's what Arno goes by throughout the new Moebius Loop. Secret identity because everyone and their mother knows that Clemenceau assassinated his own brother. Doesn't matter, he finds out and tries to go on his gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss arc. And since this version of Arno actually had a somewhat normal upbringing outside of his dad getting domed and his mother having to run off for reasons, he doesn't listen to Clemenceau half the time and is going out of his way to be a pain in his ass. 
          
          And yes, Branwen is staying. She's still a massive dork. 

Art book II update after forever. This year has been horrible, so my uploads slowed terribly. I do apologize for that. 

Ya boy is attempting to learn 3D animation. Got a ZZZ animation I'm working on. Surprisingly finding it fairly natural to work with. 
          
          Anyways, I can't wait to be like my biggest inspiration, Anna Anon!

The mental image of Orelia encountering a Colonial ship named "Death, destroyer of worlds" and thinking it's a super battleship only to be a tiny ass frigate is sending me. 
          
          Granted, Arno faked his death and took over the Colonial Forces as the leader of their navy. His flagship? A frigate known as the "Size Matters".
          
          Colonial ship names are rather "Two for Flinching" or "Dawn of Annihilation" and there is no in-between.
          
          And this is why I wish I could actually find the motivation to write more than two sentences a week lmao. The second half of ML is batshit insane in the best of ways!

Need to draw a Catfish kansen design so I can fill my monthly yuri quota. 
          
          Catfish: "Espadon! We've waited far too long! It was our destiny to face one another! Come on, Espadon! Make me feel the thrill I've been craving!" 
          
          Espadon: "Catfish, this is a fuggin' Denny's. Crave the damn pancakes."
          
          Catfish: "And this Denny's will represent the climax of our tale! A duel like no other! This fork shall be our blade that slices through the threads holding us down!"

Wish my roommate spent the energy he wastes crying over what mean people say about his favorite corporation to instead pay the almost 5k dollars he owes me. 
          
          Like I'm minding my own business in the kitchen and this man goes on a twenty minute rant about a YouTube comment he saw that said Bethesda relies on mods. 
          
          I can't wait to move the fuck out and be done with this shit. Unfortunately that would require the glorified hotel stay to be paid off, and he hasn't put a single cent in to help.

Picked up a copy of the Screamer special edition while I was out and about. Had to buy a PS5 controller anyway because Sony quality control for taken behind the shed. Beautiful steelbook, and I'm addicted to the game. Got that and an adorable plague doctor plushie at the book store while yaoi hunting with my sister. "If his hand isn't bigger than his partners head, I don't want it!"
          
          Shakira had us awaken like sleeper agents lmao. Snatched up a copy of the DMC4 Artbook and Halo CE. I'll need to get a 360 or OG Xbox to play it, but I can say I own it. Art book is smol. But that game influenced a lot of my art, and still does. Where do you think Arno wearing fecking chaps of all things came from? 
          
          Game store was playing some Sonic Fronters boss music. I don't know which track, because they all sound the same to me. It's weird that I became super tired after leaving... 
          
          And snagged a MG Zeta Gundam ver Ka model kit. I love the Zeta Gundam and its show, so getting the opportunity to build it was a nobrainer for me. Yesterday was fun..

I love how the current drafts for Moebius Loop's second half has Clemenceau screaming as his ships disappear one at a time because Arno's naval strategy for the colonies is "death via the magic school bus with a rocket engine strapped to its ass".
          
          Sonic fic by the way. 
          
          (To be fair this is when we get more Sonic elements. Because in this timeline, the Chaos Emeralds are crystaline growths that are basically cancerous kudzu but give ships the ability to beat the timeline into submission to effectively FTL. GUN forms after the story ends, the Round Table is quite literally Eggperial City from the IDW comics but as a NATO project that Gerald had to do. Space Colony ARK was a concept project that led to other colonies being built. Just without the Eclipse Cannon.)

Part of me wants to revisit my old fics. Being Arnec back (besides Arnyek reusing his Hungarian name in ML) and just go all out. Drop the demon stuff and instead have him be from a timeline of Moebius Loop where the Chaos crystal veins that sprouted across Avalon came by centuries prior and poisoned the planet. If you've played Command and Conquer, then it's basically a Tiberium reskin. 
          
          Regardless, in this timeline, the Chaos energy would spread like wildfire and this version of Arno/Arnec would grow up in a small warrior group trying to survive. Unfortunately, a calamity event would see his Avalon destroyed. However, he would be saved by the very thing that poisoned his world. The Chaos energy and their time related bullshitery sent him to essentially a copy of Sonic's timeline. Which is where he'd end up and get your typical shenanigans. 
          
          I want to play around with this version's super form. While dropping the demon stuff, I'm still wanting his super form to be less "I glow and have plot armor /s" and rather still have some of the DMC influences. Ironically I'm envisioning it being LESS "human" and dramatically changing his silhouette. I'll have to draw some concept art... Ughies...
