Well hello there and thank you for taking the time to read my work and this little blurb about me....

Where to start... well, as Julie Andrews once sang, "we'll start at the very beginning, it's a very good place to start......"

On 18th September 1982, a worldwide audience of almost one hundred million watched the funeral of Grace Kelly; a style icon, synonymous to a generation and adored by millions. As the funeral progressed, so too did Patricia’s contractions. As the world bid a tearful farewell to a much-loved icon, the Duff’s and the McKeown’s of Liverpool welcomed their own princess, Laura, into the world.

Before I could talk I was singing, before I could walk I was dancing and before I could read, I was writing.

My background has very much been performing, I've had a dabble at Stand Up, performed my own comedy sketches and most recently, I've written a six part drama for television.

I love losing myself into an alternative world, a world where anything is possible, anything is achievable and painful truths are exposed.

I'm currently working on a series of short stories exposing the dark world surrounding addiction and delving into themes and topics that in all honesty are kept behind closed doors mixed with dark comic twists.

My biggest challenge of 2012 will be to adapt my drama into a novel and I really do look forward to hearing back from you and that you enjoy what you read.

Let the creative juices flow!
