Yo guys guess what!? In my geometry class we get to make a city based off of anything of our choosing and I did mine on musicals!!!! So now I have an entire little paper musical city!!!
OK SO I SAW HAMILTON. The new cast was HORRIBLE. Thomas Jefferson sounded like an old black pastor. Lafayette sounded like the same pastor with a failed Australian accent. Burr and Hamilton sounded like whiny teenage boys that haven’t hit puberty. Hercules Mulligan/Madison sounded like a high schooler on crack with social anxiety. Angelica’s voice broke A LOT. John Laurens sounded like a class clown with voice cracks for most of Act 1. Philip sounded like a three year old with speech impediment. Eliza was good though. And Peggy/Maria ruled!!!
I showed my aunt the original Hamilton cast recording afterwards and she couldn’t believe they were the same thing.
