I'm a gay pothead who doesn't smoke and is saving himself for Katie Holmes. I am 36 years old. I grew up in a hardly populated place in upstate New York called Apalachin. My first jobs were eclectic to say the least: babysitter, nail polish disposalist, soccer referee, duck salesman, refrigerator relocation specialist. I paused a few years in New Mexico after high school to release my first book of poetry (when I was 19) but have lived in Oregon for the last 14 years of my adult life. My serious careers have mostly been food service work (serving, catering, cashiering, cooking, managing) but sometimes I get to utilize my passion for words when I write up full or special food menus from scratch. I've sold my soft pastel art designs on wall-size menu boards for various restaurants and grocery stores all across America. I write and sing original lullaby blues songs as a one man show music project called "What Once Was Lost But Now Is Sound". I am currently writing and illustrating a collection of nursery rhymes I hope to dedicate to each of my six siblings and release in a collection called "Quackey Daquiri Crock". It's my dream to one day establish my own publishing house and reinvent what it means to create custom, interactive, shared, multimedia experiences through experimental combinations of talent and technology. I believe in honoring the spirit of the teachings of John Newton, the British hymnist and harpooned preacher of love.
