Hey!! One year later and still here! Do we have an update for the next part of holiday hearts??

@Mary246__ Goodness has it really been that long? I'm sorry about that. But yes, I am actually working on it. The main reason it's taken so long is because I had tried to rewrite this one section probably hundrends of times by now, but it never flowed well and just felt bad to read. I don't think it helped that I had tried to keep the same theme for the section as I am not thinking it was just a bad idea. but I came to the conclusion some time ago that I had to just completely rewrite the whole thing. So months spent trying to fix a whole section of the story ended up being wasted time. Pretty frustrating but I am actually about to work on the story some more. 
            
            I might end up releasing a shorter version of the chapter  (Normally I do a 5000 word minimum for each chapter) just to get away from this frusting chapter.
            
            Funnily enough, I have been writing down several ideas I intend to implement into the story when I get to a point in timeline that each idea fits. Some of them I am pretty happy with and so I am praying it'll help me to get chapters out sooner.  And there is one particular idea I am mega excited to get to because I think you will all love it so much. 
            
            Seriously though, another reason I have been less active is college. As it turns out, studying a subject you have quite literally never done before, is pretty intense. Now, make that THREE subjects you have never learnt before and it becomes a whole mess of studying, cleaning, cooking, sleeping, repeat.  So yeah, I don't get much time. 
            
            Still, I managed to get a head on my work and now I have a bit of free time this weekend to sit down and write. How lovely. If I really crack on, I might honestly get this chapter done by the end on the weekend. That is my personal mission.

Okay, so I started college recently and since then my life has consisted of college work, house work and sleeping. But this weekend, I might actually get time to sit down and do some writing!

Not to excite anyone, however I am currently working on a little short story. Vi x Reader of course. I'm trying to get the draft written fully before I start going through and editing the different chapters. So again, don't get too excited. I just wanted you all to know, I am still working on new content.
          
          It's just a little fun thing. Nothing amazingly thought out but I am at least trying to put thought into little bits and pieces. Although, if anyone has anything they would like me to write, my ears are listening!

So... I may or may not have banged out a new oneshot. It took I wanna say about 2 hours? Tomorrow I want to go through it and make sure it's all good to go, but expect some content tomorrow.

Trying to get into good habits again so my writing doesn't suck big ol' balls. As recently, I haven't been writing or reading and so my ability to write has suffered greatly. Still, I have figured out a few things which I am hoping will improve my writing. If I can pull them off.
          
          For now I plan to maybe hold off on Chapter 8 of Holiday Hearts and maybe write some oneshots and things like that instead. Just so I can get back into the groove. As the last thing I want to do is half-heart something as long as Holiday Hearts.
          
          I hope everyone undersatnds, although I'm sure you will.

Progress is being made on chapter 8 of Holiday Hearts. Slow progress, but progress none the less. I'm about halfway and I am going to try and at least write a few sentences a day. Because for the past however long it's been, it has been zero words a day.
          
          I am still alive. I swear.  Getting back into writing is hard. Not because I'm not enjoying it but because I feel as though my skill has drastically dropped. Which I think it actaully has, but I am going to try and get back into it. Mainly for you guys and also because I do have fun writing.
