I thought that in the Punk Hasard arc some people would have already known who Skylar is as Monet who was investigating the Straw Hats and that in his notebook he had the pictures of the posters Wanted including Skylar and her brothers from years ago, which is why she would identify her in the fight in the cookie room, and Tashigi who knew who she was, would ask to speak alone With Skylar and he will begin to explain everything about why he abandoned everything to be with pirates, and Law, who is now a warrior of the sea then he would have been present In the navy he could have seen Varen and upon hearing the last name he would have recognized that of Luffy's partner (or as he always calls him Straw Hat) hoped that if he met Luffy again he would ask Skylar questions.
@estefanycantor I'm going to be honest, I didn't understand half of what you just said. But in an attempt to answer some of your questions: Monet doesn't care who Skylar's father is and thus wouldn't mention it. She and the brunette barely engage one another during that scene--Varen being Skylar's father does not change what she was ordered to do which was to prevent anyone from taking the test subjects (which is what the SHs were attempting to do). Monet only really interacted fully with Luffy and Zoro out of all of the SHs during that entire Arc. Tashigi knows who Skylar is, but the importance of her scene with Zoro is mainly to help show how most in the Navy perceive the brunette. She doesn't have a good view of Skylar (though Zoro shook her thoughts on the brunette a bit as did her small interaction with Skylar near the end of the Arc) thus she wouldn't want to speak with the brunette because she already assumes she knows the brunette based on what she thinks due to what others think they know and have heard. If you think you already know someone and already know the full picture, you're not going to really try and look closely/ask questions like you probably should. Law was never in the Navy. He's aware of who Skylar's father is but he physically doesn't care since that has nothing to do with who she is now as an individual. She's just a SH in his eyes. A big theme with Skylar now that two years have passed and word has spread far enough for more people to know who she is. Is that everyone responds differently--some don't care because it doesn't change how they perceive her as an individual, others care too much for one reason or another, and many show an uncomfortable reality that...most people don't care to know the truth and will believe what they want to believe about a victim even if the things they hear and think aren't true and the results of personal bias.

@Lightgail25 Actually, I do have a book planned for the specials. I actually have quite a few of them written out and done already. I'm waiting until I get a good chunk of them finished before actually posting them, it seems quite a few people are actually interested in me doing the specials so they will eventually be posted.

Hi, I can't wait for the excitement of the arc that is now in your story to have a crossover chapter of One Piece, Toriko and Dragon Ball. And How it will be when the Straw Hats are switched bodies and it is likely that Zoro will have Skylar's body and Skylar in Zoro's body that even Skylar will end up yelling at Zoro to stop groping her body, haha that would be the funniest thing I can't wait for in this story.
@estefanycantor I do have a book currently dedicated to the movies. You should be able to find it amongst my stories. It's not caught up yet though, but I do have plans to return to it as well soon after I find time to go through and edit/touch up some of the current chapters
