Hello @PumasterLV16 my fine friend, I've made a new Shatter-Verse Death Battle, involving Jumble Junior this time around. With her opponent being Vanitas from the world of Kingdom Hearts. And I remember that you've haven't gotten past the Frozen level, but I've managed to work on it with not only my first Death Battle story as a reference, but as well as some of the Death Battle fanon wiki for the updated feats to fit in the Murder Drones stuff, and I had to improvise on Vanitas's analysis using the VS Battle wiki and the official Death Battle wiki for his feats. @fancygoose123 yeah, I’m hanging in there, news is still a shock. I’m fighting though and I have ideas on how to continue writing when ready.
Well guys…we’ve reached the end of an era.
For those unaware, Luke has announced that Smg4 as a series is coming to an end. The finale will be a movie on the 27th of December and after that, there will be no more Smg4 videos. Glitch will still be continuing and the Smg4 channel will be left preserved…but it still hurts.
I started watching this channel as a teenager just as the Waluigi Arc was taking off. I was there for Tari’s introduction and I never missed an upload since. This show, it’s made me realise the comedy to be found in life, gave me something to look forward to and yes…it even inspired my greatest accomplishment.
Crystal was just a dumb fan-fiction idea I had that turned into a story expecting barely 10 people to look at it. But now? 101 followers because of something I created. I’ve dreamt of being an actor my entire life and this story, it felt like something I could call my biggest accomplishment.
Which is why it pains me to say…Volume 4 might very well be the last of its kind.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not cancelling the rest of volume 4, I fully intend to deliver, but…without the original to base off and take inspiration…I don’t see how I can make full fledged stories like it going forward.
I do have ideas for the future, maybe some…future oneshots a few years down the line. Alice and Emily grown up, Crystal’s journey into adulthood, even a crossover at one point. It’s just…not how I wished it could happen. Don’t expect a Volume 5 or 6 once it’s done.
I know, it hurts to hear…but the news hit me as well. I had some concept of a 3 year plan for the series going forward, I just…never expected it to actually end. But I guess that’s the lesson here? Nothing lasts forever. It hurts, but it’s true.
So to Smg4, on the slim off chance you see this, I wanna thank you for all the work you’ve done. Your series brightened my life with laughs for so many years and you will be missed.
And to all you guys…thank you. It’s not goodbye yet, but…soon.
@PunmasterLV16 The pain hurts me too, when I held my Tari hoodie I cried hard, and the fanfics on here have been really inspirational because it put ideas in my head of having Crystal in them, but I've yet to those, I hope to do sometime. But through out, when I read your fanfics I can only imagine Meggy & Crystal training together, it paints a very good picture in the head
@PunmasterLV16 I joined in at around the 3rd Volume and binged the series up until this point. I was so invested in this story I decided to imagine it as a seasonal anime with theme songs and endings and all. I even thought about Hypothetical Arcs crossing over with MHA and Demon Slayer and try to have them work within the story presented here. I just want to say thank you for the stories you made along the way from the Origin of Hope to the Last Grand Adventure.
@PunmasterLV16 [The king of memes may have put down his crown, but his kingdom will carry on his legacy. Especially you. I found out about the child named Crystal while browsing this website on Father's device, and have learned a lot and found data that has been embedded in my database for as long as I am operative. While I may not be able to feel any emotion, I do hope that Luke will achieve success on his other projects. As for you, I sincerely appreciate all your effort put into the Shatter-Verse canon as we know it, and wish you the best on where your next step will be, PunmasterLV16. ] -The "Real" Sonic.
The SMG4 series has just ended. The final movie will premeire on the 27th of December of this year. I hope you might continue the Shatter-Verse storyline as a semi-continuation of the SMG4 universe.
