IDK how this message thing works but, I kinda wanna write a fanfic but im bad at expressing feelings through writing, verbally I could tell a story perfectly fine,but on paper or on a computer I don't feel like I can portray the emotion I want to so does anybody have any pointers on how I could improve my writing

@AriaTheCowLover Usually what I do is try to put myself in the place of the character. What is the character feeling in this situation? That, or visualize what I’m writing helps too. It also depends whether or not your story is in First, second, third limited or third omniscient point of view. For me, it’s more difficult to write emotions in first point of view, but everyone is different. It can be a bit difficult writing emotions for characters, but it takes practice.
