Hi, thank you for the message.
It was a very entertaining read, I thoroughly enjoyed myself overall. In particular, the character development for both female and male protagonists was progressive, fun and an enjoyable experience to walk through with them as a reader. However, it would have also been nice to delve a little bit more to Haley and her best friend's relationships. It almost felt as if they weren't really friends, with the failed interests in shopping, parties, the curfew and opinion. I mean friends are allowed to disagree, though this felt they had very little in common overall and got me wondering why they were friends in the first place (but that's just me).
Despite this, I can understand how the friend group didn't factor in so much depth because Haley is young-coming-of-age and trying to understand Xav (tunnel vision almost). You did a wonderful job of descriptions of surroundings, emotions, motivations and relationships. It's a book I'll likely come back to and highly recommend.
Thank you for the entertaining read, I look forward to reading more from you.
Stay blessed and keeping writing!
