I have said time and time again if you don't like mangalsutra Or any ancient hindu practices then don't do it as simple as that. You can be modern by tattooing each other's name and faces on their body no need to follow an ancient Orthodox hindu tradition. But in the name of Modernity you are abusing and ridiculing such practices. I would I no problem if trishula didn't wear mangalsutra at all. To each and everyone's belief. I also don't have a problem if she don't believe God but don't insult a tradition and comply with the abuses hurled at the entire community. Typical bengali communist blood. I will wait when the exodus of the bengali community occurs from West Bengal and the same people will be crying for help who can't even respect their own tradition.
