The Dream Allegations
Hello my little hatchlings.
This is gonna be one of I don't even know how many posts about the DSMP and the drama in their community. I would also like to state this. Just because I support some of the people in the community, DOES NOT mean that I am part of that fandom. I dropped it a long time ago and I DO NOT want people to say I am in it. Thank you.
Now I'd like to address the title of this post. The Dream allegations.
He was accused of a lot of things, but I'm only gonna focus on a couple of things I think are important.
- Grooming
- SWATing
- Cheating
- Lying

Last warning
Okay, let's address the lighter things first. Cheating and Lying.
A few years ago, someone on the internet supposedly face reveled Dream. They released a photo of a overweight high-schooler. Dream claimed this wasn't him for the protection of himself. Dream has always been a target for the toxic part of his community and this honestly isn't very surprising.
Dream was NOT ashamed of his weight, he simply was protecting his privacy until he was ready to face reveal, if that day ever came. I do not blame him here because I would have probably done the same thing.
Now let's talk about the cheating. Yet another thing that happened a few years ago, but Dream was accused of cheating in one of his speedruns. At the time, Dream was unaware that he had cheated and he was just trying to defend himself. He had taken drastic action to prove the accusers false when he was the one in the wrong. he did eventually come to that realization and apologized for his actions. He has learned from his mistake and hasn't spedrun since.
I forgive him, that DOES NOT mean you have to if you don't want to. This is just my opinion.

Pt.2
Now, SWATing. Dream was SWATed multiple times, sometimes on stream, and this was just wrong in so many ways. People went as far as getting his family SWATed. I don't think I need to say more or why this is just wrong unless it's an actual criminal. I feel bad for Dream, but mostly his family.
I also feel the need to talk about Mannatreed. People are saying that there is no way that Dream didn't know about Manna's actions, but as someone who lived with a man who cheated on my mother for 16 years without her knowing. Yes, there are plenty of ways, so please stop being blind.
The last thing I want to cover is the Grooming. This is a tough subject as someone who has been groomed before. I don't, personally, believe that Dream could have done this. I think the evidence he brought forward proved that. I know a persona and person can be two completely different things, as seen in the Wilbur Soot case, but I don't think the persona "Dream" is any different than "Clay." I think that Dream is just the online version of Clay.
