The story follows the protagonist, Illy Tha Rippa. It is the name given to him by the media when police discover that all of his victims had strong and recent histories of women abuse. As Illy looks for a new target, his stay in Mortons is extended when he meets a rather clumsy barista worker whom captivates his very being. He might be able to find something other than murder, but a hot headed private investigator makes things difficult for our hero.
