@Veterloo First of all, I am so honored that you would reach out and ask me for advice! In my opinion, even the most cliché and simple idea can become a masterpiece. It's all about execution. So don't spend too much time thinking of an idea or plotting—just write. The ideas will come to you as you get more familiar with the characters and the world.
Characters are the most important part of a story. They are like chess pieces—it all comes down to them. So focus on creating fun and dynamic characters! In the beginning, characters are a blank slate, but it is through the story that you learn more about them—their personalities, backstories, hobbies, goals, and even endearing quirks.
Read books to get a sense of various writing styles, and then develop one that suits you best. Reading different stories is also the best source of inspiration. And most importantly, keep writing! Even I get bored writing the same story for too long, which is why I work on multiple projects at the same time. It’s important to keep your writing talent stimulated one way or another.
I'm sure you're going to do great things, and I can't wait to read your work! If you have a sec, could you read, vote, and comment on my new story THE LOVE CODE at https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/388712591-the-love-code?
Don't be shy about commenting, but please keep them appropriate and respectful! I read and reply to ALL of them! :)))
