@keddyyy2 Thank you so much! The second book isn't finished because of some mental health problems and resurfaced trauma, but I'm getting back at it.

I promise I am not abandoning my story. I have been going through a lot and have had a lot of triggering events recently that have brought up a lot of childhood trauma, including but not limited to sexual assault and mental abuse. This all happened during my freshmen year while taking extremely difficult STEM courses. I just need time to put myself back together.

@awesomeness_rocks Thank you! I'm sorry for my horrible updating. I'm kind of in a rut. Calamity Rises won't be as long as the sequel. I already know how it'll end. It's just a matter of getting there. I've been working on one chapter for months, but I hope to get it out soon.

I know a lot of people are less than happy about my updating schedule. I just want to let you know that I am alive, but I am very stressed. I'm struggling with top level classes (AP Calc included). I am only in high school. When I first started Calamity Falls I was putting out three or four chapters a day, but Calamity Rises is a lot harder to write for me. I'm constantly in a deadlock with myself over what to write. I don't want to write something I'm not proud of or invested in. I love seeing votes and comments (especially comments) on my stories. They keep me motivated. I will finish Calamity Rises, but I am a high school senior with many things in my plate. COVID is just making things worse for me. Thank you guys for all your love and support. You keep me going!
